Description of Routes:
All routes are proposed as 2-lane paved roadways.
Alternative A: Connects southern Primrose Drive, near Acacia Place, to Highway 20 near the KOA campground. Total length = 1.8 miles. Total estimated cost = $3.0 million.
Alternative B: Connects Sherwood Road, near the "pond" with Highway 101 near the proposed Quail Meadows bypass interchange, about 1/2 mile north of the City limits. Total length = 1.0 miles. Total estimated cost = $1.3 million.
Alternative C: Also known as the Hal Wagenet proposal, connects Sherwood Road at the intersection of Brooktrails Drive, with Highway 101 near the lumber mill. Total length = 3.9 miles. Total estimated cost = $4.5 million.
Alternative D: Also known as the Airport Parkway, connects Poppy Drive near the intersection of Dahpne Way, with Highway 101 near the lumber mill. Total length = 2.5 miles. Total estimated cost = $3.4 million.
Alternative E: This route connects Sherwood Road, about 1/4 mile north of Poppy, with Highway 101 near the lumber mill. Total length = 2.9 miles. Total estimated cost is not available because this route has not yet been studied by the County.
Alternative F: This route connects the airport with Highway 101 near the lumber mill, and would be available to Brooktrails residents in an emergency or when Sherwood was blocked. Total length = 2.2 miles . Total estimated cost is not available because this route has not yet been studied by the County.
Note: Because Alternative F would only be available in emergencies, a map of time savings is not included.
