A. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Presiding Officer will lead Board members and the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
B. ROLL CALL
The Presiding Officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the presence of a quorum.
C. ADDITIONS/ADJUSTMENTS TO THE AGENDA
The Presiding Officer will determine if Board members wish to add an item or make an adjustment to the Agenda.
D. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
1. The Board will approve or amend and approve, the minutes of previous meetings, including:

F. PUBLIC HEARING
2a Consideration of Resolution fixing Water Availability Charge for Fiscal Year 2001-2002; Resolution would fix the Water Availability Charge at $30 for non-metered parcels; $5 for metered parcels; (no changes proposed) and set a public hearing date for June 26,2001 on the report containing a list of all parcels subject to the water availability charge for Fiscal Year 2001-2002.
2b Resolution ordering the abatement of a public nuisance on certain private parcels located within the District; hearing to consider objections and protests regarding abatement of hazards.
G. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not on the Agenda, the Board cannot act on items brought up at this time; speakers may be limited to five minutes.
H. ACTION AGENDA
3. Consideration of award of contract; Bid opening was April 19; to abate 13 lots of public nuisances (weeds, grasses and other combustible vegetation.)
4. Discussion and response to Notice of Intent to Harvest Timber, John M. Mayfield property. This is an amendment to a Timber Harvest Plan which was filed last year and subsequently withdrawn. CDF first review of plan is scheduled for May 3, 2001, at which time it may be accepted or rejected by CDF. The earliest possible date the Department may approve the plan or amendment is: May 8, 2001.

NOTE: RIGHT OF APPEAL. Persons who are dissatisfied with decisions of the Board of Directors may have the right to review of that decision by a state court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits to 90 days the time within which decisions of the District's Board and agencies may be judicially challenged in state court.
